Very late Easter pics!!!!

We had a good time this year for Easter. It was the first time Carson got an Easter basket. He really enjoyed opening it. By far his favorite part was the chocolate. He calls it choc choc. We started celebrating by going to an Easter egg hunt at the church on Saturday. Then on Sunday we went to church and then to Christi's house for dinner. It is truly a blessing to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior. I can't wait till Carson can understand and begin to take part in this celebration. The Lord has truly blessed us with a wonderful son.

Carson really enjoyed himself. Here are some pictures from the events. They are all spread out again. SORRY!

18 months and loving mud!!!!

Our neighbor Mike convinced us to let Carson play in the mud today. Well I really think he just encouraged Carson!! Anyway, it made for some great pics and I hadn't taken any at 18 months so here they are. They are spread out because I uploaded them from Picasa and it only let me do 4 at a time.....

We are now a family of four!! We were blessed with a beautiful baby boy on Saturday June 12, 2010. His name is John Cameron. He was born at 11:51pm at Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest. He had a smooth and successful natural bith. I had no pain medacine! He was 7 lbs 7 oz and was 20 in long. Shortly after birth he began having seizures and was quickly sent to Cook Children's hospital in Ft Worth. He had an MRI and a 24 hour EEG to monitor his seizure activity. We learned later the next day that he had suffored a massive bilateral ischemic brain stroke shortly before birth. They went on to tell us that he had severe brain damage. They are estimating that 56% of his brain had died as a result of the lack of oxygen, and he is expected to have multiple disabilities. We know that God created within his head a perfectly formed brain and we believe that God has a special plan for his life. We believe in miracles and are praying for total healing. Please join us in prayer with our Heavenly Father to heal Cameron's brain and to give him the potential that the Lord designed for him. Thank you for being a part of our lives and now a part of Camerons.

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
