My second photo session..

Well, I know Carson didn't like the photo session as much as I did, but he made it through it. We actually did two. One of them was with one of my favorite outfits and the other one was "necknid" that is what my neice calls naked! Anyway here are the pics of the necknid pics and I will post the others later.

My little Angel

Wow! It is hard to believe that Carson is all ready 6 weeks. I can't believe he is actually our baby. It feels like it took forever for us to be blessed with such a sweet baby. Being a mom is the best experience ever. I thank the Lord for allowing me to do this job. The Lord intended a mother to be in the home and take care of her family. I know that is where I am supposed to be. The Lord tells us to be content in whatever circumstances we are in, but I have never truly been there until now. I am so thankful that my mom did the same thing with us when we were little. I hope I can stay home for a long time.

Carson is 6 weeks old...

Yesterday Carson was exactly 6 weeks old. I got out his play mat for him to do "tummy time" and this is what he did.....

What we do to keep warm!!!

When Carson was 2-3 weeks old he would leave one eye open and one closed like Popeye. I haven't seen him do this in a while so I had to take a pic.

Brian and I took Carson out to run some errands and it was really cold so we got together some clothes to put on Carson. Brian wanted him to be as warm as possible. So here is what we came up with. Non of it matches!!! I got out the same jacket Carson has on in the pictures to put on him today and realized it was 3-6 months!!!

All bundled up

Brian took Carson outside to look at the creek behind our house. That is Brians favorite place to be because it reminds him of home (Arkansas). It was really cold and had just finished raining. So we bundled him up in the blanket and hat that Grammy made him.

Bath time

Carson loves bath time as long as he has water on him the entire time. He hates to get his hair washed and he hates when bath time is over. Here are a few pics of his second real bath.

Aunt Janel Came to visit...

Janel finally came to visit! It was so short, but very good. I really enjoyed getting to spend time with her and glad that she got to meet Carson. We got to get out a little with the baby and with out. Carson went to go see his first movie.... Dan in Real Life. He did great. He slept or ate the entire movie. We are going to see Janel again for Christmas and meet Carson's cousin Logan and uncle David. He will also meet his aunt Adrian and uncle Ryan.

God is good...

I am sitting on the couch with Carson and thinking about what a blessing it is that the Lord has provided so that I can stay home with Carson. He is such a blessing in our lives and I am so thankful that I am home with him. The Lord is so great and I can't believe that we have a child. To think that the Lord gave up his son for us......I can't imagine what that would be like. He is so amazing. Carson is our miracle baby. We had such a hard time trying to hold on to a baby and the Lord knew that we would have him. He truly is our pride and joy!!! I thank the Lord for him and look forward to what God has planed for his life.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving with Brian's family. Anna and Ella were very excited to meet their new cousin. They did such a great job with him. Anna said she wished he was her and her mom's!! I was sitting in a chair and Ella walked up to look at Carson and she said, " Oh he is eating.....does that hurt? It was really cute. We enjoyed getting to visit with his family, but it is never long enough. They both enjoyed playing on the back patio with Brian. We have really big acorns on the patio that they were throwing into the creek. They also enjoyed looking at the ducks. Here are a few pics from their visit......

Carson's 1st photo shoot......

I love to take pictures, so of course I will be taking a million of Baby Carson. This was my first attempt of trying to do something creative with him.

Doctor visit

We went to the doctor yesterday and Carson gained almost all of his weight back. He now weighs 7 pounds 5 ounces. He was only an ounce away from his birth weight. We were all very excited. Brian was able to take off work and come with us. The doctor said everything looks good and we will go back for his two month visit right before Christmas. He will have to get his shots at that visit. We are going to fly to Florida for Christmas and the doctor wants him to have his shots before we go on the plane. We are getting ready for Thanksgiving. Grandma and Grandpa Foshee, Aunt Amanda, Anna and Ella (Carson's cousins) are all coming to visit. The girls are excited to meet their new boy cousin. I am not sure Ella knows what to think about meeting him. She has been the baby for a while now!!! I will update again after Thanksgiving with new pictures.

Grammy and Pops

Grammy came to stay for two weeks and Pops came on the weekends to visit. We had a great time with them here. Grammy helped mommy take care of Carson. It was such a blessing to have her here while Brian was at work during the day. We are looking forward to Grandma and Grandpa Foshee to come visit for

Thanksgiving.

No more jaundice

Changing Time....

Carson hates to have his diaper changed unless he is asleep and then sometimes he doesn't even wake up during it!!

We went to the doctor today and Carson gained an ounce and now weighs 6 pounds 11 ounces. So he is gaining weight and his jaundice is under control. We do not have to be under the lights anymore. It was not a fun experience. He hated wearing the goggles and I hated putting them on him! He is eating better and spends more time awake. I hope you enjoy the new pics of him.....

Carson has Jaundice......

Well, I just wanted to give an update on baby Carson. He is doing well, but has a few issues we are all trying to get past. We found out that he has jaundice and his billirubin levels were 20 and he has to be under lights at home all the time, unless he is eating. We are sad that we can't hold him, but know that it is the best for him. He had lost a pound,but gained two ounces back today. He is eating better. We are praying for him often and trust the Lord that he is going to be ok. We will be going to the doctor daily to check his billirubin levels and I will keep you updated. We are all really tired and of course getting no sleep. We are sleeping in the living room with him and his lights are like tanning bed lights so they are pretty bright!! Please keep him in your prayers.

Proud Parents!!!

Baby Carson has arrived!!! He was born on Monday October 29th at 5:24pm. He weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and was 201/2 inches long. He is doing great. He was born by c-section so I am a little sore, but doing good. We came home from the hospital yesterday around 4:30. We are all enjoying time with him and are so proud of our new son.

Carson Is Coming!!

Well, we went to the doctor on Thursday and have scheduled a c-section for Monday October 29th at 4:00. He is still being stubborn and is breech. He is actually standing straight up in my tummy. He likes to kick me a lot!!! We are both looking forward to his arrival. Grammy and Pops and Grandma and Grandpa Foshee and all coming to see him. I know everyone is anxious to see what he looks like. The doctor said he is going to be a good size baby, so we will see. We will have pictures up of him as soon as we can.

Waiting for baby Carson!!!

Well we have one week left until baby Carson is suposed to be born. He is currently in the breech presentation so we have a schedules c-section on November 1st. We are anxiously waiting to see what he looks like and just to hold him!! It has been really nice to be home and get ready for him, but also a little nerve racking!!! We both can't wait!
