We are back

Ok, I know we haven't blogged at all lately, but we have had a lot going on. So here is an update. On Monday, June 9th Carson had Urological surgery. On Wednesday, June 11th we went to the doctor because he seemed to have an infection. He did and it was a staph infection and the doc put a cath in and gave him an antibiotic. We had to give it to him 4 times a day which meant waking him up in the middle of the night. The medicine is horrible and he would scream and spit it out so we just gave it to him and hoped he at least got some of it. On Thursday we went back to the hospital and they put him under and stitched in another cath. When he had the cath in we had to put two diapers on and cut a hole in one thread the cath through and then put the second diaper. We both had to be there to change a diaper. It was crazy. Oh yeah I forgot to mention he also had diarrhea. So we went to the doc on Friday because he didn't seem to be doing well. She took the cath out and sent us home. We went back the same day at 3 and she put another cath in at the office. By Monday he had a bladder infection so she took the cath out again. Things have been much better since. We are now on no meds and doing well. I will update pics soon as well. In the middle of all of this Carson has learned to crawl, pull up and started eating cereal puffs!! He is getting so big.

Yea your back!!! I am glad he is still doing well after all the mess. It isn't fun at all when they are sick or hurting. Poor baby boy, you better have given him all those hugs and kisses from me like I told you too. ;)

Maren I love checking your blog! I have it on my desktop next to Ainsley's! You are quite the photograher...very professional looking pictures! Carson is precious and I love your sweetness in giving Brian some quality feeding time.
Love you...

I am so sorry to hear of Carson's health problems...I know this has been very troubling to you. I'm glad to know he is doing better and now learning all the things he needs to be learning...crawling, pulling up, etc.
Love to you all...
